Welcome, and thank you for visiting Wine Chronicles: Bordeaux & Beyond.

This website is currently in pre-launch mode ahead of a broader relaunch planned for either mid-summer or early autumn 2026. The new Wine Chronicles will evolve into a subscription-based platform featuring in-depth wine journalism, scheduled tasting reports, château profiles, interviews, travel features, restaurant discoveries and regular coverage of Bordeaux — while also exploring other regions and stories that deserve attention.

Readers can expect extensive annual en Primeur and in-bottle Bordeaux reports, regular tasting notes, vertical retrospectives, opinion pieces, and reflections on the people, places and culture that make wine endlessly fascinating.

The original Connections to Wine website remains online as an archive and reference point, but new content and future development will shift to Wine Chronicles: Bordeaux & Beyond, which aims to become a richer, more dynamic and ambitious platform.

I have been writing professionally about wine since the early 2000s, contributing over the years to publications including Decanter, The World of Fine Wine, Club Oenologique, Wine Business International, Wines & Vines, France Today and others. My background as a journalist and international media professional has shaped the way I approach wine: not simply through scores and technical analysis, but through narrative, context, people and experience.

Wine, after all, is never only about what is in the glass. It is also about history, travel, conversation, memory and place. That is to say: Chronicles ☺️.

In addition to writing and criticism, I continue to participate in professional tastings, judging panels and educational events internationally.
